Earthquakes, Volcanoes, and Hurricanes are the most-wicked all Natural Disasters as we are being reminded of each year. This year massive Earthquakes and Hurricanes destroyed a lot of countries. So we have to come to an important question that, Can we find the clue to predict them?
We have all heard of animals getting spooked sometimes 1-2 days prior to the big quakes. Cats, Dogs, Horses, and many domesticated pets seem to have some rather unusual behavior before Earthquakes and seem to attempt to warn us against an impending Earthquake. There have been hundreds of reports of animals seemingly foretelling the catastrophe – not just minutes, but sometimes hours and even days before it occurred.
In 373 B.C., historians recorded that animals, including rats, snakes and weasels, deserted the Greek city of Helice in droves just days before a quake devastated the place.

Some people believe that if animals can feel it prior to an Earthquake then surely all we need to do is understand why and how and then mimic that by building a high-tech sensor, which does the exact same thing.
The SETI Institute, Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, believes that as they can listen for signals in space, why not listen to Earth too. Many Earthquake Researchers and Seismologists believe it may soon be possible to listen to the earth. The Earth gives off some early warnings and vibrational changes in the ultra-low frequency range and by using state of the art equipment and listening this may hold the key to figuring out when and where the next Earthquake might be.
For several years seismologists have intensely debated whether or not you can forecast earthquakes by the electromagnetic signals emitted by rocks under stress. Greek researchers, who say they could one day be used to predict earthquakes, developed an idea known as VAN method maintaining that electrical and magnetic activity in the ground can predict the location, time and magnitude of some earthquakes. The researchers used telephone wires as antennas, to measure extremely low frequency electromagnetic waves every 10 seconds.
Also in the effort to predict earthquakes, people have tried to associate an impending earthquake with such varied phenomenon as seismic patterns, electromagnetic fields, weather conditions and unusual clouds, radon or hydrogen gas, content of soil or ground water, water level in wells, and animals behavior. Earthquake prediction is controversial because data are sparse and there is little evidence or verified physical theory to link observable phenomena to subsequent Seismic.

Actually, you can only answer the question after knowing that, a scientist called Galal Alam in Egypt, Zagazig claims that he can sense any earthquake or hurricane or a volcano before it happens anywhere in the world and pinpoint its location and set its strength exactly.
“No science, scientific development, or any other device manufactured can predict hurricanes, earthquakes or volcanoes, determine the location, and set the strength. But thanks to God I can, and I can challenge everyone in the whole world” Galal Alam said to some magazines, newspapers, and space channels.
Yeah its true, he is betting any scientist who dares to challenge him at any place in the world, and ready with many evidences that as he says proves his sincerity.
A meaningful earthquake prediction must have all the following elements: Specific area, Specific magnitude or magnitude range, Specific time window, Estimate of probability compared to random chance, and physical basis. Based on the historic record of the various published efforts to predict a quake, one might conclude that earthquake prediction is usually imprecise, but remains an art that is scientifically and socially useful.
