In Seoul, South Korea, over 20,000 couples participate in the celebration Sun Myung Moon’s 90th birthday and his 50th wedding anniversary with wife Han Hak-ja. Sun Myung Moon is the founder controversial church. When he was 15 years old, he had a vision from Jesus who asked him to continue his work.
In the 1960s ,he made his first mass wedding. This world’s largest mass weeding gathered couples who knew each other for little months and who came to renew their vows. Moon exploits this celebration to transfer the leadership of the Unification Church.
Some people criticizes this mass wedding between couples who do not know each other so much before their wedding. But Moon justifies these critics by declaring that these couples knew each other for months before making their wedding.
