Honda unveils ‘Segway-style’ unicycle that travels in any direction you want

The U3-X is a modern unicycle which produced by Honda. You can ride this new mobility device by shifting your weight on the direction you want to go. According to Honda Motors, the U3-X is safe, and comfortable. It can moves forwards, backwards and sideways. It can travel up to 3.7MPH. To move and swerve by this modern vehicle , the single wheel on it is made up of many tiny motor-controlled wheels, packed inside the bigger wheel.

The weight of the U3-X id under 22 pounds. And it charged by a lithium-ion battery. This modern unicycle is good for those over 5ft. According to the Honda President Takanobu Ito, this U3-X has no certain sales plans or accurate ideas about where it can be used. Honda motors designed this vehicle for the elder persons. Japan has many perennial persons.

So Honda designed this vehicle to help those aging persons. Honda president is sure that the U3-X will be spread in the streets. At the Asimo walking child-shaped robot and the U3-X ,Honda used the same technology. However Honda says that the U3-X is so easy to ride, there is no certainty that the aging persons could control this vehicle . So if the aging persons cannot ride this U3-X who could ride it ? May be the lazy persons or the overweight ones.
